Castle Creations' introduction of the Mamba Monster was a break-through moment for R/C modelers wanting to experience what seemed to be unobtainable. Brute power and sheer stamina have made this our legacy “power up” for popular 1/8th scale buggies, truggies and on road vehicles and 1/10th scale monster trucks.The current version we call Mamba Monster 2. The ESC is capable of 2S LiPo to a maximum of 6S LiPo, and is now waterproof (see product use statement below). This upgrade allows users to run their vehicles through the morning dew, across the soggy snow or just about anywhere else you’d be interested in running a 1/8th scale RC buggy or truck. We’ve updated the case, allowing users easy access to fan changes, if necessary. Additionally, we’ve added solder posts to permit users to change battery wire length and direction as needed for an even more custom install.

Award Winning Combination
The Mamba Monster 2 packs a punch that can’t be duplicated, it can be purchased alone, or in combination with one of our highly efficient 1512 or 1515 series motors. They both feature high quality oversized bearings, sintered Neodymium magnets, superior electromagnetic design, and rigorous quality control resulting in a Monster motor we can put our name on.
Waterproof statement: Not intended for operation while submerged in liquid. If unit is operated in wet conditions, rinse with fresh water to remove dirt or corrosives, then fully dry unit.

- Product Use Statements: *Although Monster 2 and Castle brushless motors are waterproof, they are not intended for operation while completely submerged in liquid. They can corrode when exposed to corrosive materials, such as salt water. Always rinse the ESC and motor with clean water after exposure to corrosives or dirt. While the motor and controller may be waterproof, we suggest users confirm that the rest of their vehicle, including the batteries, servos, radio and chassis are also waterproof before exposing them to liquids of any kind. *The cooling fan must be removed prior to driving in wet conditions. It is not waterproof.
- Application Guidelines: Intended for up to 6S (25.2 Volt) operation in vehicles weighing less than 15 lbs, with batteries, ready-to-run.
- Tech Notes: Not all LiPos are created equal, and surge ratings should never be used to determine a pack’s suitability for a brushless application. Use the CONTINUOUS C rating only. Mamba Monster setups frequently hit 100+ amps in peaks. We strongly suggest using 5,000 mAh or larger LiPo cells with a discharge rating of at least 30C (or high quality 25C batteries such as Traxxas® Power Cells®). Our experience suggests using only mild gear ratios with NiMH cells. Do not attempt to use NiMH cells in extreme setups.
